What do I get when I start free?
The first module of every course, one active free course at a time, completion badges, and the credential wallet, including imports of certificates you already hold. No card, no trial clock. Plus unlocks the rest.
What does Plus include?
Every course on every track, assessments and verified certificates, for ₦4,500 + VAT a month or ₦45,000 + VAT a year, or $12 + VAT a month or $120 + VAT a year if you pay in dollars. Plus is paid in advance and does not renew on its own; you extend it when you choose. Offline lessons and an AI tutor are planned for Plus but not available yet.
Can I buy just one course?
Yes. A single course costs ₦30,000 + VAT, or $15 + VAT if you pay in dollars, includes the assessment and verified certificate, and stays yours for good. If you plan to finish more than one course in a year, Plus works out far cheaper.
Do prices include VAT?
No. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout. Codality Africa Ltd is registered for VAT and charges it at 7.5% on payments in naira and in dollars. Checkout shows the price, the VAT and the total before you pay, and every receipt in your billing page lists them.
What are funded programmes?
Cohort-based programmes that run for months with mentors and career support, paid for by a sponsor such as an employer, NGO or foundation, so they cost the learner nothing. Entry is by application. No cohort is running yet: the first opens when the first sponsor signs. Register interest and we will tell you when one opens.
Where do the badges and certificates come from?
Verified certificates come from passing a course assessment on Codality, and each has a code anyone can check. Completion badges come from finishing a module. You can also add credentials you already hold, such as Google, Microsoft or OpenAI certificates or Credly badges; these are shown as self-reported. Everything sits in one wallet, and on your profile if you make it public.
I teach. How do I list a course?
Apply as a partner. If we take your course on, we agree its price with you and publish it. You keep 80% of every single-course sale, worked out on the price before VAT, and courses included in Plus earn from a shared pool based on how much learners use them. We handle hosting, payments, progress and certificates.
Can I learn on a phone with limited data?
Yes. Lessons are text, pages are light, and your progress is saved on our servers each time you finish a lesson, so you can pick up on any device. You do need a connection to open a lesson; offline lessons are planned but not available yet.
